Tiredness - Levels of hormone progesterone will increase and may cause fatigue.

Spotting - Small spotting and vaginal bleeding is one of the early symptoms of pregnancy. The colour is lighter than how a normal period would look like and women may feel occasional abdominal cramping.

Food cravings - This is also one of the common symptoms of pregnancy and you can find yourself turning up your nose for certain foods or flavours. This usually happens around the first trimester nearing to the second trimester.

Constipation - An increase in progesterone causes food to pass more slowly through the intestines, which can lead to constipation.

Missed Period - missing your period after a few days doesn't mean you might be pregnant. However, if you've missed an entire period cycle, there is a high chance of pregnancy.

Are you really pregnant?

Unfortunately, this list is not a bible to whether you are pregnant. Sometimes, it might be due to stress and your hectic work schedules. If you have missed your period and have any doubts, don't hesitate to take a home pregnancy test. If it turns out to be positive, make sure you make an appointment with your health care provider. If your pregnancy test is negative and you are still not feeling your usual self, try to take another one to be sure.
